Project Overview
Subita Tamang is a London-based photographer and videographer who needed more than a social media presence. She needed a site she owned ; somewhere clients could find her through search, understand what she offered, and get in touch to book her. This project covered the full journey from discovery and wireframes through to a live Webflow build, including analytics setup and ongoing iteration based on real performance data.
Challenge & Goal
The brief was straightforward but the constraints were real — limited budget, limited timeline, and a client who needed to manage her own content after handover without relying on a developer. Subita needed to rank on Google for her services in London, convert visitors arriving from Instagram into actual enquiries, and have a site that felt credible enough to stand alongside the quality of her work. Every layout decision was made against those three goals.

SEO
The site was designed and built entirely in Webflow, with the gallery structured as a CMS collection. This meant Subita could add new work directly through the Webflow Editor. Each new project she uploads automatically inherits the layout, spacing, and responsive behaviour already built into the collection template, so the site stays visually consistent regardless of how many pieces she adds over time. At handover she was given Editor access rather than full Designer access, keeping the interface simple enough that updating the site felt no more complex than editing a document. Responsive breakpoints were set up once in the build and apply across all CMS items automatically, meaning new work displays correctly across desktop, tablet, and mobile without any additional effort on her end.
Intentions for the site
Subita is a London-based photographer and videographer building her first dedicated web presence. While already active across social media and job boards, she needed a space entirely her own — somewhere clients could find her, understand her work, and take action. Through an initial discovery conversation, it became clear that the site needed to do one thing above everything else: convert visitors into enquiries. The user flow above maps how different types of visitors — whether arriving from Google, Instagram, or word of mouth — navigate through her work and ultimately reach the same goal: getting in touch to book.

Wireframes using Figma
Before any visual decisions were made, each page was mapped out as a lo-fi wireframe to establish layout, hierarchy and user flow. This process ensured that every design choice — from where the eye lands first to where the call to action sits — was intentional and grounded in how a real visitor would move through the site.
